PRN Pediatrics - Physician
Overview Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois to join an established practice. Opportunity Details PRN position Join and share call with 13 general Pediatricians Clinic site has 5 general Pediatricians and 1 Pediatric Developmentalist with 1 Nurse Practitioner Outpatient position; includes level 1 nursery duties and opportunity to do some inpatient work, if desired (covering your own patients that you admit) Telephone call and night/weekend acute clinics 1:13 Incoming Physician will not cover C-sections or deliveries Pediatric Hospitalist services covers admissions and manages inpatients There are approximately 200 Carle Physicians in the Urbana-Champaign area Pediatric subspecialty support includes: Critical Care, Neurology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, and Developmental-Behavioral, Genetics, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Urology, and Pediatric Cardiology Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign About Our Community Champaign-Urbana has been defined as a micro-urban community, meaning we have many of the amenities of a much bigger city, with the feel of a smaller town.
